Wedding Day Photography

A boisterous Wedding! : Delvin & Adeline

Bride gets ready in the early morning
Preparations for gate crash begin
And the groom arrives!
…is it time to go up yet?
Almost day light..
Rock and rolling groomsmen
No Entry!
Until breakfast is consumed!
Baby Bittergourds are, by the way… the most bitter
Delvin finally gets through the gate to receive his bride
And a final wave before setting off
Car reflections – my favourite kinda shots
Big family hug on arrival at Delvin’s home
Lotsa wonderful 成語,彥語 as blessings for the couple
I feed you, you feed me, sweetness for many years to come
Adeline’s dad gets a tad bit emotional after the tea ceremony
Thank you, Mum
Delvin’s nephews, and ringbearer

Congratulations Delvin and Adeline!

Wedding: Lesley & HP

A dear friend’s wedding.
A day of sweet, sweet blessings.

Venue: One-Rochester Park, Singapore

It’s all in the details – the bridal gown

Enlargements of the couple’s pre-wedding session in Berlin on display.
A choice of orchids, and purple – the bride’s favourite colour
deep-set eyes…
Guests arriving at the reception
And we manage a few shots just before Lesley’s dad arrives to walk her down the aisle
Congratulations lovebirds!
Many speeches by friends and colleagues – my favourite part of every wedding
A toast. You deserve it HP!

Mingjing + Champ + baby bump

It was not too long ago that I was shooting Mingjing & Champ’s pre-wedding. And now, we are looking at a couple, about to become a family. Congratulations to the both of you, and thank you, for allowing me to grow with your lives.

Wedding: Andrea & Lionel

Holy Matrimony: Church of St Teresa

Banquet: Four Seasons Hotel

Wedding: Edalene & Gerald. The Grace Kelly Dress

I learnt during the wedding that Edalene & Gerald’s favourite phrase is ‘awesome’. So forget about depending on a photo booth company to provide live feeds of guest pics on screen. The lovebirds, who both in the advertising industry, got their friends to twitter/facebook pics of their wedding, like live updates, and projected it on screen. All they needed was an internet connection!

Thoughts 2011

Year end. A time for recollection.

I am grateful to you, my clients, for trusting and letting me wholeheartedly into your lives, for keeping in touch and bringing our relationships beyond business level – cooking dinner, planning a hike!

And for the assignments that took me on wonderful adventures around the world. And the editor who makes me feel like I’ve won a ticket to Charlie’s Chocolate factory.

Please, I couldn’t have asked for more.

Two great weddings, a wonderful husband and new family.
Friends, who have been with me all the way and all these years.

I’m not the best with such expressions. But those of you know, and thank you for the journey:)

Grace & Ted’s Wedding: Lovebug and a touch of class

Privileged to photograph and put together the story of Grace & Ted’s pre-wedding and wedding day albums. Working together prior to the wedding day definitely aids in building rapport with the couple, helps in our understanding of each other and our working styles, so we can roughly read each other’s moves. Or for me that is, I try to read the couple’s moves, what each facial reaction means and be more confident about access into private and intimate moments that surround the nature of a wedding itself.

Also, am especially delighted when Bride feedbacks that she’s enjoyed the photoshoot!

An excerpt from Grace & Ted’s wedding, complete with a modified Volkswagen Beetle with Porsche steering wheel and interiors. Makes me so-very Gaga.
Check out Ted’s ‘Counting sheeps’ tie. Love!

Church: St Francis Xavier
Banquet: Four Seasons Hotel
Videographer: Yang, Substance Films
Grace’s gown: Emanuel B

Congratulations Lynn & Andrew!

A sneak peak of their wedding held this afternoon at the lawn at Raffles Hotel.
