Hi Weeling, yes the cheongsam can be beautiful yet subtle. You have to wear it if you’re marrying overseas, for memory, for the album, for your parents, and yourself. I wish you a most wonderful wedding.

all along I have been quite adverse to wearing the qipao at my wedding ceremony, that is until I read what you wrote, particularly what lai chan had said. I think I would finally don mine at my ceremony in a foreign land come september. thank you.
